Poll: Finding Out About New Posts

As we begin a new year, I want to make sure I’m doing the best job I can to reach my readers and give you the information you need. So over the next few weeks, I’m going to run a few polls to help me get a better sense of who you are and what I can do to make Mom With a Gun better for you.

Today I’d like to know how you go about learning about new content on my site. Do you use an RSS reader, follow me on Facebook or Twitter, or something else? If you pick the “something else” option, please let me know in the comments if there is another vehicle I should be using to reach you better.

Thanks in advance for your input!

How do you usually find out about new content on my site?

Usually when I get the email from you—but sometimes when you or someone else posts it on facebook

  2. Mark says:

    Email.

Thank you for this! I didn’t know anyone was actually using the email option, so this is good info for me.

      Happy new year!

I have a set of folders in my bookmarks. One of them is “blogs,” divided into subfolders of various designations. I simply visit the blogs in that folder daily or as often as they usually post something. Mom with a gun has been in the “daily” sub folder from the start. :)

Honored to occupy that place in your bookmarks. So, you’re sort of doing the work of an RSS reader manually, I guess…

I, too, have your website saved in a folder that I check on a daily basis.

I’m glad you find my blog useful enough to check every day! One of my goals for 2013 is to post at least once a day. I’m also looking at doing some other stuff including perhaps video.

Welcome, and thanks for weighing in!
